We will be starting by appointment only document services next week. Call the library at 574-279-0177 to schedule an appointment to come in to print, fax, or copy documents. Need to use a computer to file your unemployment paperwork or other important documents, call us and schedule an appointment. This is not for playing games on the computers or checking social media, those things can be done from the parking lot with out free WiFi and your electronic devise. This is a service we will be offering for free to assist in a challenging time. The number of people in the library will be very limited. We request you wear a face mask in the library (for our protection and yours) and do not request an appointment if you have a fever, cough, or any other COVID-19 symptoms. Thank you for understanding and working with us to keep everyone safe.

We are so happy to be back in the library, even just part time. Velma, Molly, Janet, Kayla and I are doing our best to keep things clean and safe. We are offering contactless service for curbside pick up. Place a book on hold in Evergreen or call the library to reserve a book. We will pull the book, place it in a bag and call you to let you know it is ready. You will then pull up to the designated pick up area off of US 6, call us and let us know you are here, pop open your trunk or a car window with no one sitting in the seat, we will come out and place the items in your car. This service is currently running on Tuesday & Thursday from 10-2 & 3-5.

Just wanted to update everyone on the library’s status during this time. Due to Governor Holcomb’s Stay at Home Order our facility is closed. The Wifi still reaches to the parking lot and is available to anyone in need. In addition, the drop box is open for drop off but no materials will be considered due or late until after we re-open. It is possible that upon re-opening (possibly in May) that we will have limited services to provide safety for the staff and community. Thank you for your continued support. We love and miss you all! Please stay home and stay healthy.
